Frédéric Aymes
A free spirit who only plays by his own rules, Frédéric Aymes strode out of the Parisian world of couture and high jewellery to develop instead his own model. Kenzo, Dior, Cartier… lovely playing fields, rich gardens even, but not the places for an offshoot that dreamed of boundless woodland. Beyond the canons of industry and consumerism, Frédéric Aymes crafted a distinctive brand where his real-life fantasies run free. Half-heartedness and smokescreens have no home in this Maison: forever a timeless agitator and disruptor of conformist tendencies.
An impenetrable gaze, muse of his muses, outrageously perfectionist, the creator draws from a cacophony of influences to conceive a heavenly constellation at your fingertips and before your very eyes. Inevitably, his creations escape him: they are made for you. With precision, style, and all the necessary time to fashion an unshakeable feeling of bejewelled jubilation.
Poised between his proclivity for provocation and his masterful taste for the extravagant, the Feminine is adorned by Aymes with exceptional flair: provocative, yet sophisticated.
A fanciful mind to begin with, Frédéric has been swallowed by the bucolic, far beyond the grid. He figures, should the need arise, the wild rock dove will come to his rescue.
Marilyn
Muse. Meticulous. Malicious. Mind-bending. Like an angel, Marilyn skirts Frédéric's shoulder but always stops short of dampening his ardour. Visionary and dedicated, she infuses her energy to shape the soul of a Maison that would never dare to curb any degree of audacity.
One foot in the shadows, the other in the light. Rationality and esotericism thus converge, sparks flying in every direction. Something of an artist herself, her draw to a wide array of mediums informs the key role she plays.
Another dweller of where the grass is greener, she has opted out of router and routine, and instead lauds the celestial bodies, unfaltering purveyors of the truest form of wireless fidelity.
Romuald
Hands of gold and an unwavering heart (or vice-versa?), Romuald cuts, carves, sculpts, facets and sets tirelessly to give life to the delirious marvels that run through the lavish maze of a prodigious mind.
Aymes knows but few bounds, and scarce are the craftsmen up to the task. Romuald is of the few whose formidable talent outshines.
While he chisels best in solitude, the most coveted gemstones and precious metals from the earth’s four corners journey everyday through his fingers.
At present, he tries to revive the memory of Frédéric’s voice, who sits unbothered on cloud nine, as they communicate via posted audio cassettes and epistles to complete commissions.
Cyril
A liaison for life, the bridge between Aymes’ creations and the creatures that flaunt them, Cyril delights in making the Maison radiate with elegance and an unparalleled attention to detail. Well versed in wild ideas and expectations, he gets a kick out of drawing up every minute possibility: fascinating materials, gems on hand, and value of this exchange…
